Arrival in the  land of Plenty and the land of Refuge –  where

  • Abraham took refuge when there was  drought in Canaan (Genesis 12:10),

At Cairo International airport .You will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by our representative, then escorted to your hotel. Breakfast at the hotel

THE PYRAMIDS OF GIZA   The great Pyramids of Choeps, Chepren and Mysterious are the only ones surviving of the seven wonders of the ancient world. They are Egypt’s most visited monuments and among the worlds greatest tourist attractions.

THE SPHINX is carved from a single piece of stone. It is a lion with the head of a pharaoh   thought to be the portrait of Chepren

The hanging church (AL MUALLAQA) –  was built in the 4th century over southern gate of the fortress of Babylon. Dedicated to Virgin Mary, its treasures includes a 14 the century wall painting of the Nativity,

Church of St.Sergius (ABU SERGA) – A 5th century basilica built over crypt where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed during their flight into Egypt,

Church of St.Mercurius (ABU SEFEIN) – boasts a unique collection of Coptic art including 175 icons that depict scenes from the old and new testaments, wall paintings, etching and stained glass, and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

After breakfast check our of the hotel to transfer to St catherines, Cross the famous Suez Canal that separates Asia and Africa. This tunnel is under the sea and an adventure in itself. Sometimes the huge ships crossing the canal can be seen

Visit the Springs of Moses where Moses hit the rock and twelve water springs appeared. Here, there are remnants of the springs and a group of Bedouins still lives there. Continue to theWilderness of Sin where the miracle of Manna and Quails took place and view the seventy-two palm trees. Next stop is in Rephidim where the Israelites fought the Amalekites. During this battle, whenever Moses put his arms down, the Israelites lost and whenever he put his arms up, the Israelites were winning. (Aaron and Hur held Moses’ arms up as he started getting tired.).

Transfer to St  Catharine . Arrive St  Catharine check in hotel .Have an early dinner and retire early to be ready for the early morning climb.

At 0200 hrs start the climb of Mountain of St, Catharine

Return to hotel for rest and breakfast. Checkout and  visit sites in St. Catherine which is the place where Moses climbed up the mountain to receive the Ten Commandments.
In the same area, there is the famous Greek Orthodox Monastery which is built around the Burning Bush and the well where Moses met his wife Zebura (daughter of Jethro, the priest of Median).
Transfer to the   border town of Taba (approx 2.5 hrs) Arrive and  check in the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure

Early  breakfast and checkout . At 0700 hrs transfer to the   border  and cross over to Eilat to enter Israel. Cross through the border- check and immigration. Meet and assistance by our guide in Israel.

Viewed on the way to Jericho will be  the Lot’s wife site,. Proceed to visit Jericho , where we will visit Mt. of temptation by cable car , remains of the walls of the Old Jericho ,Elishas Springs and Zaccheus’s tree     ( Luke 18:35-42) ,

Today  visit the places where Jesus ministered  around the Sea of Galilee: Mt. of the Beatitudes, where the “Sermon on the Mount” was given .Proceed to Tabgha :  It is a place with a plentiful supply of water  .  Traditionally , this is the site where Jesus fed 5000 with  2 fish and 5 loaves (Mark   6:36-44 , Matthew 14:13-21 , John 6:1-6), walking down to primacy of peter ( Mensa Christi )then proceeding to the town of Christ  ( Capernaum).   Sail   on the Galilee sea in a boat similar to the boat used by Jesus and his disciples. Proceed to Baptismal Site of Yardenit on  the Holy River Jordan.Drive to visit Cana  of Galilee , where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water to wine at the Wedding ,

At 07 :00 O’clock,  check out and start our long day in  Nazareth.Visit the shrives of Nazareth ( the basilica and the grotto of the annunciation– and the work’s shop of Joseph,  the old Synagogue and Mary’s well.  Proceed to Mt. Carmel  to visit Al Muhraka,  And the Bahai’s  gardens .  Proceed  along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea , – outside view of Roman Amphitheater and Aqueduct. Transfer  to Bethlehem via Bet Shemesh  and Emmaus  where Jesus appeared to two disciples after he resurrected  (Luke 24:13)

Start the day in Bethlehem , the site of the King David’s well , the Church of Nativity the traditional birthplace of Jesus. Visit also the Basilica and Grotto of the Nativity and the Manger Square Drive to visitthe  Shepherds Field,the site where the star appeared to the shepherds which lead them to the manger where baby Jesus was born.

Drive to visit  Hebron (20 miles south of Jerusalem) .Hebron entered history with Abraham . “After leaving his nephew Lot in the region of Bethel , Abraham moved his tent and came and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre which are at Hebron, and there he built an alter to the Lord”(Genesis 13:18)  ,. After an oriental bargaining Abraham bought the cave of Machpela for four hundred shekels of silver from Ephron the Hittite. The cave of Machpela became the family burial place where Sara, Abraham himself , Isaac, Rebecca , Leah and finally Jacob, whose body was brought from Egypt, were buried.  After noon, drive to the Mount of Olives to visit the Ascension Chapel where Jesus ascended into Heaven. Visit the Church of Pater Noster to witness the “Lord’s Prayer’ written in several languages.

After  breakfast at hotel, drive to visit the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane, to the Rock of Agony   the place where Jesus prayed before the Roman soldiers came for Him. Visit the Mount Zion area to see the Upper Room where Jesus and His disciples had their last supper. See also King David’s tomb, Pool of Bethesda, and the Church of St. Anne. Continue to visit the holy temple and the Wailing Wall  ,then continue to Via Dolorosa( Way of Sorrows)  

After noon,  drive to visit the New City Jerusalem, and visit the Knesset (Parliament Building) and the high Court –outside view only.
Proceed to visit EinKarem, the place where John the Baptist was born. Visit the “St. John in the Mountains” church, built on the place where the house of St. John was standing. Visit the Church of Visitation, where St. Mary visited Elisabeth .

Visit Bethany on the eastern slope of Mount of Olives, which since the 4th century carries the name of Lazarus( El Azarieh), was the home of lazarus and his 2 sisters, Mary and Martha, whom Jesus  loved.   Continue to the Dead sea for the unique floating experience ( 1.5hrs). Next visit will be the Kibbutz Yotvata to learm about arid and dairy farming(1.5 hrs)  then continue to Eilat border.

Arrive to Taba Border to enter into Egypt. Continue to Taba. Checkin hotel and at leisure

Breakfast at the hotel. Checkout and depart for Cairo. Time off for shopping early dinner and continue to the airport for final departure.
