DAY 1: ARRIVAL – ARBERDARE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning you will be met by our representative and a driver guide. A briefing of the safari will be conducted then get in the vehicle for a 3hour drive to Aberdare National park. You will arrive to check in at your lodge and have lunch followed with short rest. In the afternoon you explore the park on a drive. Aberdare National Park is a protected area that has conserved one of the rarely spotted elusive Bongo, black serval and black leopard (seldom seen). Other animals spotted are the elephant, buffalo, syke monkeys, black & white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, waterbuck, bushbuck, baboons, duikers and suni. It is a home to black rhinos as well as over 250 species of birds. After discovering the areas composition, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
In the morning you will have your breakfast, check out and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On the way you can have a stopover at Nyanyuki, Equatorial point where you can have photos and/or observe the Coriolis effect demonstration by the local experts. You continue your journey to arrive and check in at the booked property. With short rest you have early lunch. Go on an afternoon drive to inspect the lands offers. Ol Pejeta covers an area of 360 kilometers square. It is famous home to the chimpanzees and the last two remaining species of the Northern white rhinos. While on the game drive you can trace the lions, zebra chimpanzees and many other species. After exploring this land area, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
After breakfast, you have a full day game drive in the park.
DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
On a drive you will transfer to Lake Nakuru National park. A saline water lake on the floor of Great Rift Valley Region, it is surrounded by woody and bushy grasslands. Its known for huge flocks of greater and lesser flamingoes. Covering an area of 189 kilometers square its Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary which provides home to the endangered black and white rhino species who get targeted for ivory. Other animals such as hippos, waterbucks, lions, leopards, Rothschild’s Giraffe, stripped hyenas, buffalo, impalas, olive baboons among others are found. Being an ornithological paradise, birds including pelican, fish eagle, secretary bird, heron, egret and grebe are spotted. You can chill and relax at the Baboon cliff, Out of Africa or at Makalia waterfalls. You have an afternoon drive to survey the land. At the end of the day you return to lodge.
DAY 5: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
You rise up early to have breakfast then depart for the great Masai Mara. On about 5hours drive you will be arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. You go for an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara consist of gentle rolling savannah plains stretching to 1,510 square kilometers. It’s home to magnificent wildlife and flora species. Best known for the Great Wildebeest migration; where predators pose threat to the wildebeests while crossing the river to the neighbor park in Tanzania. In the afternoon you go for an exhilarating game drive in the reserve.
DAY 6: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE.
After breakfast, you go for full day exploration of this feature. In the rolling plains and the woodlands one is in search of the big five, and other animals; the leopards, rhinos, buffalos, lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebra, impala, gazelle, topis, elands, warthog, foxes, wildebeest, hartebeests, klipspringer, hares, hyena, mongoose, crocodiles, hippopotamus and many more. You can also view the vultures, ostriches, lark, crane, ibis, hamerkop, Guinea fowl, hornbills, egrets, eagles, hawk and more other species of birds. Other activities you can do at an extra cost while at the reserve are; bush meals, sundowner, visit at masai village, hot air balloon safari and nature walks in conservancy. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
DAY 7: LAKE NAIVASHA
You check out after having breakfast, then proceed to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch at the reserved property. You have lunch and relax for short time. In the afternoon, with the help of your driver guide you go for a boat ride. The driver will liaise with the boatmen, have a briefing and enjoy the ride as you view some wildlife grazing at the banks of the lake. The ride takes you to Crescent Island game sanctuary where you get let in at an extra cost. Enjoy incredible experience with close encounter of wildlife roaming in their natural habitats. There are occasional sightings of pythons, groups of buffalos, zebra, gazelles among others. The nocturnal hippos can be seen grazing. On a boat ride you return to the lodge for overnight stay.
DAY 8: NAIROBI
You will have breakfast, after which you check out for an excursion at Hells Gate National park. Covering 68 kilometers square, it offers panoramic picnic sites, spectacular scenic towering cliffs, water gouged gorges and geothermal steams. You can opt for a walk or a cycle within to have views of wildlife such as Thomson’s gazelle, klipspringer, eland, giraffe, buffalo, serval cat and hartebeests among others. You proceed on your journey to Nairobi. In two hours’ time you will be at your reserved hotel in the city. You relax at the hotel.
DAY 9: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT.
Depending on your flight timings you will have breakfast then relax at the comfort of the hotel and later get transferred to the airport.
