Introduction
Embark on a perpetual journey through Kenya’s most Iconic destinations. They offer best experiences for mesmerizing memories. You set off to Kenya’s Northern region where you get incredible experiences at Samburu National Reserve. You will head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for close encounter of the Chimpanzees and other animals. Departing from central region you descend to the floor of the Rift Valley with a visit at Lake Nakuru National Park. You will crown into the Majestic Masai Mara National Reserve for more adventures in the beautiful plains. The last day of the safari will be at Lake Naivasha.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE.
Upon clearing with customs desk on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met by our representative and the driver guide. You get briefed of your trip and depart to northern Kenya to taste its uniqueness. About 5hours drive you arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. You check in, have lunch and short rest. In the afternoon you go for a game drive in the reserve. You will return to the lodge in the evening for overnight stay and dinner.
DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
After having breakfast, you can request for packed lunch then proceed for a full day exploration of the reserve. Samburu national reserve is a premier game reserve covering about 165 square kilometers, situated on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river. Its famous for the rare animal species termed to be the special five. The special animals include the Beisa Oryx, somali ostrich, grevys zebra, reticulated giraffe and the gerenuk. A drive in the reserve gets you on the lookout for animals such as the elephants, leopard, lion, cheetahs, jackals, wild dog klipspringer gazelles, impalas and waterbucks. For bird lovers over 250 species of birds have been recorded. It is a home to kamunyak (a lioness that adapted baby Oryx). Return to the lodge in the evening.
DAY 3: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY.
After breakfast, you will depart heading to Kenya’s central region. About 3hours drive you arrive at the reserved accommodation in time for lunch. Have a short rest and lunch, then proceed on a game drive in the conservancy. Ol Pejeta is famous for the chimpanzees and is home to the last two remaining species of the Northern white rhinos. While on the game drive you can trace the lions, zebra chimpanzees and many other species. After exploring this land area, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast you check out, then depart for Lake Nakuru National park. About three-hours drive gets you at the lodge. You can have early lunch then proceed for a game drive. This premium park is well known for flocks of flamingoes as well as a rhino’s sanctuary. It is home to most of wildlife species including endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, buffalos, lions, waterbucks, impalas and zebra.
It is recognized as an Important Bird Area since over 400 species have been recorded. With use of the binoculars, one gets to trace and learn of different birds in the environment such as the red- capped lark, long tailed widowbird, African fish eagle and many more.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
DAY 5: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
This day you can have early breakfast on request then embark on a drive to Kenya’s key destination. About 5hours drive, you will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. You have your meal together with short rest. Masai mara consist of gentle rolling savannah plains stretching to 1,510 square kilometers. It’s home to magnificent wildlife and flora species. Best known for the Great Wildebeest migration; where predators pose threat to the wildebeests while crossing the river to the neighbor park in Tanzania. In the afternoon you go for an exhilarating game drive in the reserve.
DAY 6: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE.
After breakfast, you go for full day exploration of this feature. In the rolling plains and the woodlands one is in search of the big five, and other animals; the leopards, rhinos, buffalos, lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebra, impala, gazelle, topis, elands, warthog, foxes, wildebeest, hartebeests, klispringer, hares, hyena, mongoose, crocodiles, hippopotamus and many more. You can also view the vultures, ostriches, lark, crane, ibis, hamerkop, Guinea fowl, hornbills, egrets, eagles, hawk and more other species of birds. Other activities you can do at an extra cost while at the reserve are; bush meals, sundowner, visit at masai village, hot air balloon safari and nature walks in conservancy. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
DAY 7: LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast, you check out and proceed with a drive to one of the fresh water lake in the rift valley. About 4hours drive gets you at reserved lodge in Naivasha. You check in, have lunch then proceed for a boat ride on the lake. The ride offers chance to view some herbivores along the banks of the lake as they feed. Besides the ride you can visit an island on the southern part of the lake (crescent island game sanctuary) at an added fee. Crescent island sanctuary offers unforgettable memories as you encounter animals in their natural habitats. Walking along the trails, you can view mount Longonot as well as the Aberdares and Mau escarpments. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
DAY 8: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you are connect to Amboseli National Reserve via Nairobi. In about 5hours drive you arrive at the park and check in at your accommodation. Have lunch and slightly rest as you prepare to have a thrilling afternoon game drive in the park. This premier parks uniqueness is outlined by the clear scenic views of the highest peak in East Africa; snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. Famous for huge herds of tasked elephants. It is also home to variety of animal species. After game drive you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 9: FULLDAY GAMEDRIVE.
After breakfast you get ready full exploration in the park. You have enough time to survey the open savannah for wildlife such as the hyenas, wild dogs, giraffes, gazelles and many more spotted within the pristine surroundings. More over the park shelters different birds, over 400 recorded species. You can have a sundowner at an extra cost. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 10: AMBOSELI – NAIROBI
After breakfast you check out and depart for Nairobi. You will have a stopover at Emali town where you can have a self-arranged lunch and also purchase souvenirs for yourself. On about 4hours drive you will arrive in Nairobi getting transferred to the airport to catch up with your scheduled flight.
